Chinese Bowling Congress (CBC) is one of the most progressive non-profit bowling organization in Canada.  Founded in 1985, CBC is dedicated to:
  • Promote and foster the sport of ten-pin bowling
  • Provide networking opportunities within the Chinese community

Promote and foster the sport of ten-pin bowling

Provides membership services includes various bowling leagues and tournaments organized by CBC. Through the support of the community and volunteers, CBC has grown to be the largest Chinese bowling organization in North American:
  • 340+ active registered members
  • Manages three to four bowling leagues year-round
  • Organizes four bowling tournaments each year (three of the four annual tournaments are sponsored by media companies such as newspapers and TV station.  The fourth tournament is targeted for charity purposes in cooperation with the Toronto Cathay Lions Club)

Provide networking opportunities within the Chinese community

Special events and activities for our membership throughout the year - award banquets, summer golfing tournament etc.

Community involvements - Many of our present and past board members are leaders in their respective professions.  Through this social network, CBC had worked with community groups, charitable organizations and local businesses in many worthwhile projects in the Chinese community.

  • CBC launched the official Web site (www.cbcbowling.com) in 2000 to provide a contemporary communication channel for our members to access information anywhere, anytime.  The Web site content includes:
  1. Up-to-date news and information to our members such as their current bowling averages, weekly team standings, league rules and prize money as well as tournament qualifying standings
  2. Bowling equipment information, hot link to equipment manufacturers
  3. Information on our sponsors and hot link to the sponsor sites where available
